MF-DJ910G Hot Applied Butyl Sealant for the Manufacture of Insulating Glass
Introduction:
MF-DJ910G is one component, solvent-free, non-fogging, permanently plastic butyl sealant and suitable for the first sealing of the IG. It can keep its plasticity and sealing characteristics in wide temperature range and will not become harden or break up meanwhile. It has excellent capability of resistance to air-aging. It has excellent adhesion to glass, aluminum alloy, galvanized steel and stainless steel. Its final adhesion is physical and should be achieved by adding pressure. It will compose an excellent anti-humidity system with elastic sealant due to its extreme vapour penetrability.

Range of Application:
MF-DJ910G is mainly used with two component polysulfide elastic sealant and silicone elastic sealant as the first sealing in the course of the manufacture of IG. The product complies with each item of the standard JC/T 914-2003. The Insulating Glass made by the product complies with each item of the standard GB/T11944-2002.
Methods of Application:
The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust, smear and lipid. MF-DJ910G can be applied by butyl-extruder of special for hot applied butyl sealant on IG production line; its concrete condition can be achieved by adjusting temperature and pressure. The preferred range of temperature is 100 °C ~ 150°C. The operating environment temperature should be 10 °C or above.
